My Approach
“The universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are.” Rumi
Life transitions can feel unsettling, lonely and overwhelming — at any age. I specialise in the in-between seasons of life - the moments when something has shifted and you're not quite sure who you are now.
I have a particular interest in supporting women through mid-life transitions and identity shifts such as career decisions, relationship changes, caregiving pressures and feelings of overwhelm.
I also support adults navigating change across many stages of life. These include retirement, relocation, relationship changes, caring for ageing parents, grief and loss, stress and questions around identity, purpose and direction.
My approach is warm, thoughtful and practical. I walk alongside you — helping you process what’s changing, strengthen your confidence, and take small, meaningful steps forward.
Incorporating heart and intuition (a touch of humour where appropriate!) I'll hold space for you in a warm, comforting setting and listen without judgement. We’ll collaborate to achieve realistic goals and actions while building on your strengths. I utilise Solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and other therapeutic frameworks.
My therapy Cavoodle Cinnamon is also a beautiful calming energy if you are a dog person!!
I also offer a mentoring service for anyone needing a less formal approach or as a way to take that first step of making some positive changes.
It’s essential to both of us that we are a therapy match hence why I offer a 20 min free of charge initial meeting/conversation to see if we share an emotional connection that’s vital for successful counselling.
I offer home visits for Aged Care clients. Other sessions in person (in my office or local café/park), via Zoom or walk and talk option.
